The Alpha Competition decat downpipe is a 3""/76mm stainless steel downpipe designed for a perfect fit between the turbo and centre pipe on Golf 8 R and S3 8Y models, requiring no modifications. Eliminating both OEM catalysts and OPF, this downpipe boosts power by about 35hp in a stage 1 tuned EA888.4 engine. It also produces a more aggressive sound and is constructed from premium T304 stainless steel with expertly hand-crafted TIG welds, offering an outstanding quality/price ratio.
