The Mustang Ecoboost Intercooler Kit features a direct-fit design, delivering a 58% increase in core size without the need for modifications during installation. Engineered by Mishimoto to integrate seamlessly with the stock active grille shutters, this intercooler avoids obstructing airflow to both the radiator and AC condenser by utilizing the original mounting location. It is constructed with cast end tanks optimized through CFD testing for enhanced airflow, and includes an in-tank air diverter on the hot side to ensure efficient flow through the intercooler. The kit includes inlet and outlet pipes made of aluminum, available in either a polished or black finish, and can handle up to 550 whp.
